This project is shall be overruled by The Chinseu Community Based Organization but there is a special committee that is set to look for the help received and where it shall be distributed (logistic committee). This committee is comprising of different members of the societies like Member from the office of the Ward Councilor, Area development committee, Village development committee, Representative from the religious group and chaired by the Chinseu CBO - Disaster Program Officer.
The non stop raining for two days has caused lots of damages, peoples houses, some people killed after the walls of their houses fall on them, eleven people died in this community only 5 children, 4 women and 3 men were taken by flooding rivers and other people were moved to school blocks. 21 children were seriously, animals died, crops washed away due to heavy running water.
This project will solve this problem hence it will help all the victims of this disaster by giving them daily food, water, blankets and buckets , and domestic support such as giving them plastic buckets, plates , blankets, plastic sheets for roofing/ shelters and this project will give hope to these victimized people to go back to their previous premises and build another home.
This project will help the beneficiaries build strong houses that in the future they shall stay without worries upon their buildings to fall down due to heavy wetness caused by continuance raining. *200 families are affected, their crops are washed away, some animals die,houses fallen down. * 108 children that are cared and supported at Chinseu CBO are also affected as the block they used as the under five pre school learning has fallen down due to Freddy cyclone
