For those who stay behind in Ukraine fighting not only the outside war, but the war with diseases and injuries. Patients. Their families. Injured people. Medical staff. Give Life works with local contacts to gather necessities from hospitals across Ukraine and send to the boarder medication, equipments and medical supplies.
Millions of people stayed behind in Ukraine. Some of them are chronic patients suffering from cancer, diabetes or other illnesses. And some of them are injured during the war. Do they still have access to the treatment their lives depend on? What resources do they have? How long will they last? What are their odds?
For the people who have stayed in Ukraine, the patients, their families, the wounded, the medical staff, we are looking for medication and medical supplies to help them fight for life. How? We work with local sources (doctors, volunteers, representatives of local councils, etc.) to comply necessity lists and then we find the products and transport them to the boarder with Ukraine. The first transport has already reached Cernauti and Kiev.
