Rescue Families From Acute Hunger in Karamoja

Hunger continues to place a heavy burden on vulnerable families across Uganda. For households with limited income and few resources, finding enough food for every family member can become a daily struggle. In communities such as Karamoja and other underserved areas, families may need urgent support to meet their basic food needs.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking support to help families facing immediate food insecurity. A food package can provide essential relief and help a vulnerable household have food on the table during a difficult period.

However, our response is not limited to emergency assistance. We also want to help families develop longer-term solutions through access to seeds, agricultural knowledge, farming skills, and other appropriate resources. Supporting families to produce their own food can contribute to greater resilience and household food security.

Objectives:

• To provide food packages to vulnerable families facing immediate hunger.
• To reach food-insecure households in Karamoja and other underserved communities.
• To support families with seeds and agricultural resources.
• To provide practical farming skills and knowledge.
• To promote household food production and resilience.
• To support longer-term pathways toward food security and self-reliance.
• To mobilize donors and partners to expand assistance to more families.
