Kerala is facing severe flooding due to intense monsoon rains, leading to widespread destruction across multiple districts. Rivers have overflowed, landslides have occurred in hilly regions, and thousands of families have been forced to evacuate their homes. Vulnerable communities are the worst affected. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, and sources of livelihood overnight. Access to food, safe drinking water, sanitation, and healthcare has become critically limited.
VOICE Trust will provide immediate relief and long-term recovery support to flood-affected families in Kerala. In the emergency phase, we will distribute food, safe drinking water, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter materials. As communities stabilize, we will support livelihood restoration through agriculture inputs, livestock assistance, and minor home repairs.
This project will go beyond immediate relief by helping flood-affected communities rebuild stronger and more resilient lives. By restoring livelihoods through agriculture and livestock support, families will regain stable sources of income and reduce dependency on aid.
