Dear partners,
I am writing to share a brief update on the Naqab Communal Resilience Project and to thank you for your support of this work.
In 2025, the project continued to expand in response to sustained requests from Palestinian Bedouin women and youth in the Naqab for frameworks addressing both psychosocial strain and long-term community resilience. Over the year, we facilitated multiple short and long-term groups led by local Bedouin women facilitators, combining trauma-informed group work with political and civic education. Participants engaged in processes focused on understanding their social and political realities, strengthening personal and collective coping capacities, and developing community-led initiatives addressing local challenges. The project reached hundreds of women and girls directly and had broader impact through family, community, and institutional engagement.
In 2026, we plan to deepen and extend this work by expanding the number of groups and their scope, and further supporting participant-led community initiatives. We also aim to consolidate learning from the past two years in order to refine the model, strengthen local partnerships, and ensure the project’s sustainability and relevance in a rapidly changing reality.
Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Your support has been essential in enabling this work to grow from a community-identified need into a sustained framework for resilience, leadership, and grassroots change in the Naqab.
In solidarity,
The Sadaka-Reut Team
