Dear supporters and friends,
This past year in the Naqab/Negev and throughout the land has been one of both profound difficulty. In the face of ongoing violence, neglect, and systemic injustice, our work with Palestinian Bedouin communities has proven more vital than ever. Yet, despite ongoing injustices, more than 100 participants joined our youth, women’s, and student groups this year—gathering to share their stories, strengthen communal resilience, and nurture leadership in the midst of uncertainty.
The success of this past year is a testament to the courage and perseverance of our participants. Many have told us that these groups offered one of the few spaces where they felt truly seen, supported, and able to imagine a different future. In times when basic safety and recognition are denied, the importance of creating these spaces for learning, solidarity, and empowerment cannot be overstated.
Over the last few months, our team has been preparing intensively for the year ahead. Building on the trust we’ve established, we are designing new initiatives and expanding partnerships with local leaders to deepen our impact in the Naqab. We know that the coming year will bring new challenges, but we also know how urgently this work is needed—and how much difference it makes.
Thank you for standing with us in these excruciating times. Your support ensures that together we can continue to cultivate resilience, justice, and hope.
In solidarity,
The Sadaka-Reut Team
