Dear Friends,
Thank you for making donations to support our cause of making the emergency care services outside the hospital. Tanzania Rural Health Movement has started recruitment of the passionate and dedicated community first responders from the motortaxi drivers in Mwanza, Tanzania.
The existing first responders have continued to respond to the incidents 24/7 and recently we have been featured in the popular magazine (The Citizen) in Tanzania. Highlighting our community emergency response in Mwanza, Tanzania.
During holiday seasons we managed to respond to an incident involving a pregnant woman who gave birth on the way to the health facility. The first responder responded and provided basic emergency care services and transported them to the hospital. The mother and baby are progressing well.
We will keep you informed as we proceed with the recruitment process. Thank you for directing your donations to Tanzania Rural Health Movement.
