Six months after the devastating Valencia floods, we are relieved to report significant progress. Thanks to the rapid response and generous funding through GlobalGiving, we immediately addressed critical nutritional needs for thousands of affected individuals.
Over the past six months, your donations have enabled us to provide over 500,000 hot meals. We have also established a central warehouse for food and cleaning supplies, which are continuously distributed to five key areas in Valencia. While we mourn the lives lost, particularly those who acted heroically, we acknowledge the ongoing economic hardships faced by survivors who are rebuilding their lives.
Foundation Ayuda Una Familia has transitioned to a resource distribution hub, supplying relief agencies from affected zones. This allows us to focus on meal preparation, while they manage local distribution.
In the coming six months, we will continue to closely monitor the evolving needs of these communities.
