Updated 11 December 2024: The recent floods in Valencia have devastated our community, leaving many families without homes, essential supplies, and access to basic necessities. Fundacion Help a Family (in Spanish, Fundacion Ayuda Una Familia), a trusted charity organization serving Valencia since 2017, has mobilized its resources to provide immediate emergency aid to those affected by this disaster.
Imagine a tsunami of water and mud, 100km wide, sweeping away homes and businesses. That's the reality for Valencia's flood victims. Entire ground floors have been destroyed, leaving 1000's of families with nothing. * Loss of homes and belongings * Lack of access to food and clean water * Limited access to essential services * Risk of disease * Emotional distress and trauma
Our fleet of lorries is distributing clean drinking water and ready-to-eat meals to affected areas. We're also providing non-perishable food items and hygiene kits. We're distributing blankets, clothing, and medical supplies to those in need.
Our established presence in Valencia since 2017 means we have strong community ties and understand local needs.
