Angelina, a Ukrainian orphan girl, would like to thank everyone for the first donations and is urgently asking for help to raise all the funds needed to install water and sewage pipes in an old house in the Zhytomyr region.
Angelina lives with her guardian – her own grandmother, who is of retirement age and looks after the girl on her own.
The girl and her grandmother live in an old, dilapidated house with no sewage system, bathroom, toilet or running water. Their daily routine is difficult, as they have to fetch water from the street in buckets, heat it for hygiene purposes, and use an outdoor toilet.
The grandmother is very loving; she looks after the child, loves her granddaughter and cares for her with all her might. The grandmother’s pension is small and cannot cover all basic expenses, so she has no money to connect the house to the water supply or install a sewage system.
With the first donations, our coordinators purchased pipes for the sewage system, and the path to a decent, normal life for this family has begun.
Thank you to everyone who cares, and we urge you to help!
Angelina believes that by the winter of 2027, water and a toilet will have been installed in the house!
