Mr.Alagarsmay (77) came to ROSI’s home in 2009 as orphan and so he was become as relation to another 26 inmates. Then he had more relation from 1.5 Lack people of ROSI Foundation’s Target community. Since November 2016, he was in patient in Illuppur Hospital. Yesterday he dead due to age and illness. His funeral was done yesterday at Illupuur burial ground with his relief belief ie he is belonging to Hindu and so death ceremonial was done as per Hindu religious habits.
Now strength of the home is 26 inmates, who are thanking you on behalf ROSI FOUNDATION and its staff and volunteers for providing food, accommodation, health, recreation and good counseling for neglected aged. Your support is enabling for 26 neglected elders’ continuing as inmates in the home. We get sufficient food, toiletries, cloth, recreation and good health counseling by our canseller Ms.Mangaiyarkarasi MSW.
Recreation such Caram board and Chess with TV, News paper and Magazine are provided. Health support as health checkup, Yoga and Naturopathy exercise / support is provided with Psychological training. Ms.Asha MSW is doing counseling works. These are done from your generous support.
I am belonging to Sub-urban area in Thanjavure city, Thanjavure dist. I was become a neglected. I could not work and upkeep my need and so started begging. At the time someone told me about ROSI FOUNDATION’s home and brought me there. I am now free of hunger, isolation and health issues. Isolation and orphans condition are now changed. I am with group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems. I with another 26 elders am thanking you.
I am kindly requesting to erase hunger of the elder persons and find smiles in their faces and life. You may spend your rest time to spread the work and important of supports though phone, e-mail, social media, etc. you may inspire your friends, colleagues, community and families explaining the importance and need of the programme. I believe you will do the works parting your golden time with my thanks.
