Tohum Autism Foundation is a public-benefit NGO that ensures the early diagnosis and social integration of children with autism in Turkiye. Research shows that 1 in 36 children is diagnosed with autism. It is estimated that there are over 2 million individuals with autism in Turkiye; despite over 700,000 children with autism are of educational age, only 44,000 are enrolled in school. Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference that appears in the first years of life. It is vital that children with autism are diagnosed early and benefit from specially developed education programs. Education is the constitutional right of every child, but children with autism cannot reach these rights!
We ensure that children with autism receive education at Tohum Autism Foundation at the training center, so that they can receive intensive, continuous and special education, which is their only cure. We launched the project so that more children with autism can benefit from educational opportunities. Within the scope of our campaign, we want to increase the number of scholarship students and ensure that more children can receive education.
Should we achieve our targeted donation amount for the project, we will be able to offer one-year special education scholarships and cover the costs of educational materials for 10 children with autism who are enrolled in the Tohum Autism Foundation's training center.
