Approximately 1 in 31 children is diagnosed with autism. Early diagnosis and access to specialized educational programs are essential for these children. Despite education being a fundamental right for every child, many children with autism in Turkiye face significant barriers to accessing it. This campaign aims to expand the number of scholarship recipients at the Tohum Autism Foundation's training center, enabling more children to benefit from quality education.
Autism is a developmental difference that appears in the first years of life. It is vital that children with autism are diagnosed early and benefit from specially developed education programs. Education is the constitutional right of every child, but children with autism cannot reach these rights!
We ensure that children diagnosed with autism receive specialized education at the Tohum Autism Foundation's training center located in Sisli, Istanbul. Our aim is to provide them with intensive, continuous special education. Our project was initiated to extend these educational opportunities to a greater number of children with autism. As part of our campaign, we are dedicated to expanding the number of scholarship recipients, thus enabling more children to access the education they require
Should we achieve our targeted donation amount for the project, we will be able to offer one-year special education scholarships and cover the costs of educational materials for 10 children with autism who are enrolled in the Tohum Autism Foundation's training center.
