Educational Support to 40 Needy Children in Kilifi

Thank you for supporting our journey of ensuring accessible education to all children regardless of one's status. We draw our strength from the belief that education is an enabler of all round development of a person and that it helps people become responsible, passionate and productive citizens contributing to the advancement of our society.

Education has the ability to change the course of a person from alienation, poverty and destitution, and bring them on a path to security, social belongingness and prosperity. It moulds the physical, intellectual, emotional and social characteristics of a person in a balanced manner.

We aim is to reach out to vulnerable children in our society whose guardians are not able to support their children’s education. By sponsoring their education, we are meeting a fundamental human right and giving them a chance to change their lives. Primary school education in Kenya is not entirely free and there are 'hidden' costs that are introduced by school heads and committees that make education inaccessible by most children from poor families in Kenya.

If these children are not absorbed into the education system and trained to become responsible and independent citizens, they are most likely to end up in social vices and become a threat and a burden in society.

Education in Kenya trains children to develop critical thinking and reasoning power, shaping them into good citizens, and improving their social standing and independence, enabling themreach their desired goals.
