Dear Partners,
We are thrilled to share an encouraging update on our educational sponsorship project.
Thanks to an inspiring increase in local community engagement, we have been receiving vital support from local supporters to help sustain and expand our reach. This support has provided our project with the momentum needed to open doors for more young minds.
Because of this combined local and international support, we are now entering our next phase of growth. Over the coming weeks, our team will be vetting new applications to identify students in greatest need. We are preparing to enrol another 15 students under the partial sponsorship program for the upcoming academic period.
This group will join our current group of sponsored students, bringing the total number of beneficiaries for this project to 25 students. Combined with the 73 students under the full sponsorship project, Upendo will be sponsoring a total of 88 students across primary, junior secondary, secondary and college/university levels.
Your foundational partnership is what made this project possible, and it is now inspiring others right here in the community to pitch in. We will send another update once the vetting process is complete and the new students are officially enrolled.
