The children and teenagers who are in the Philharmonic are increasingly engaged in their music classes in the project and actively participating in community events.
In June, an event was held in Caicó to talk about the National Day to Combat Child Labor and the young people from our project were invited to perform on that day. Music contributes to a process of social transformation, contributing to the acquisition of habits and values essential to the exercise of citizenship, which is why we believe in the potential of our project to improve the lives of children and young people.
In July, the Hermann Gmeiner Philharmonic performed during a traditional event in the city, the Festa de Sant'Ana. The event is in its XXIV edition and performs presentation of the main philharmonics of the region. The young people from our project participated on the first day, playing at the opening of the concert. Parents of children and teenagers watched the presentation proudly.
