The Upendo Aids orphans and vulnerable children project, supports over 200 children, working to free them from poverty, by providing them free education in primary school. Your donation will help and assist provide a pupil with a uniform,meals,medicine and pay for teachers with supplies for a year
Over 70,000 children in Mityana District Uganda are either orphans or vulnerable children due to HIV/Aids or poverty. Such children end up lacking education, health, food and shelter. However Upendo has identified 200 children of such category to educate up to primary seven but lacks funding to sustain this project for the next year. Thus your support will enable these children run our program for one year until our school will get able to pay children to support the needy ones.
Through this project, you will be able to pay for teachers in our school, accommodation, meals, medicines and school supplies in support to 200 orphans and vulnerable children in Mityana Uganda for UPENDO. It will be complemented with counseling, career guidance, spiritual support and games to up bring these children to their full potential.
By 2015, we shall have put the school to a level of recruiting able to pay children who will support these less privileged children. Thus by supporting us we shall secure aside income to also set up structures for our school with accommodation. This will enable the 200 children get education, health and accommodation for the required time.
