Our Programmes Manager Lilli, and Programmes Coordinator Sira, recently visited our programme in the Caribbean for a monitoring and evaluation visit. They were delighted to see the impressive progress young participants are making. The teenagers involved in the project are developing valuable skills and exploring income-generating opportunities through initiatives such as Indigenous jewellery making and coffee production, which were created and managed by students at the local school. Meanwhile, the younger children have been actively engaged in cultivating a vegetable garden, where they are learning about sustainable planting practices and the importance of food security from an early age.
The project continues to empower youth and strengthen entrepreneurship in Caribbean communities by equipping participants with essential skills. Young entrepreneurs are learning how to turn their ideas into successful small businesses, contributing to local economies and building resilient futures for themselves and their communities.
