While the team has encountered a number of obstacles in the past few months, they continue to meet Sudan's extreme circumstances with achievement.
The S. Sudan Education program is running well, and BRAC is happy to be able to provide a place for kids to be kids!
The 140 BRAC schools in Southern Sudan are bustling with energy, full of children playing, singing and enjoying learning. The schools provide alternative primary education to children between the ages of 8-11, with an accelerated curriculum that helps children who’ve never been to school get mainstreamed back into the formal education system. The children have completed their first year at the BRAC schools and are entering the second of the three year program.
Enjoy and pictures and thanks again to all of those who have enabled this project to continue! Keep up the great support!
