Sorry to be so late with this report. Expanding Opportunities is undergoing some changes. As Nelson Mandela has said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”, this project was determined, the most needed and the most active of our projects. We will concentrate on this project.
As we look forward to 2025, Expanding Opportunities will continue support for those already in this project and add at least 6 children to our boarding school numbers as these six children have proven themselves to be academically oriented and need a safe place to live. Expanding Opportunities will provide a HOLIDAY HOUSE for them during school holidays.
Expanding Opportunities will also provide funds to cover arrears in school fees for some last year, (Senior, Form 4), students, who would otherwise be unable to obtain their high school credential due to the arrears. These students will be selected upon the advice of the principal, teachers and community chief. This will provide these children the opportunity to obtain their high school credential and begin their employment search.
