Smile Charity project will improve access to quality education in Bor South County, Jonglei State, by sponsoring at-risk children's schooling and will conduct training for 30 teachers in modern classroom skills and Provide incentives for teachers. It will also build a Temporary Learning Space and will strengthen local education leadership through workshops for County Education Officers. the initiative will help children stay in school and ensure they are taught by motivated, trained.
Bor South County faces a crisis in education access and quality. Prolonged conflict, flooding, poverty, and displacement have devastated education infrastructure. Many schools operate without proper classrooms or trained teachers, and learning materials are scarce. Key Challenges: - Low school attendance, particularly among girls - Untrained and unmotivated teachers - Lack of classrooms and learning resources - Limited parental awareness of the value of education.
