In the first semester 2026, our She Learns programme continued to make strong progress across its primary education, coding, English and Community-Based Education activities. This included contracts with 61 teachers, the recruitment of 9 additional teachers through a Ministry of Education written test, and the distribution of stationery supplies and 70 teacher kits across 15 schools in three districts of Kabul Province.
Coding and English classes are continuing, providing additional learning opportunities for secondary school girls and supporting their continued progress.
Numbers that matter:
The primary education programme is reaching 4,273 active students who are regularly attending classes, including 3,640 girls and 633 boys. They are supported by 70 Womanity-supported teachers across 15 schools.
