In the last querter of 2024, as we continued our online training in coding and web developement and English classes, as well as our support to 8 Community based Education classes, we were also able to negotiate with the Ministry of Education to support 70 more classes in girls' public schools. Public schools are experiencing a high shortage of teachers leaving children in composite classes that might reach a hundreds of students. By supporting more teachers, we help reduce the number of students per class in the schools we support and we train teachers in teaching methodologies resulting in an overall improvement of the learning experience for children. This activity will help us reaching more than 5,000 girls.
Furthermore, we established a new partnership with the National Science Center to train 200 teachers in how to teach science subjects from grade 1st to grade 6th, grades in which girls are allowed to attend school.
We are now compiling all project results from 2024 and plan to release this information in the next report.
Stay Tuned!
