This project will restore 50 children from poorest families in Issyk-Kul region to school with our support. We will buy stationery, appropriate clothing such as uniform and shoes for these children. Also we provide these children with hygienic supplies such as toothpaste, toothbrush and hygiene kits for girls
Child poverty remains a serious issue in Kyrgyzstan and concerns every second child lives. Poor children are deprived of access to quality public services of school education. Although in principle all children in Kyrgyzstan have free access to school, in reality many children still cannot go to school because they have no school supplies (notebooks, book, pens, pencils, school bag) or suitable clothes or shoes. Many parents send their children to work on the harvest, scrap recycling or markets.
Provide 50 children from poorest families with school supplies and clothes so that they could attend school and learn how to read and write. Help these children to restore their education and give opportunity to get a good profession in the future so they would not be poor when they grow up.
We live in the 21st century, where the future is impossible to imagine without education. If a child cannot read and write how she/he could succeed in this life, they are destined to live in poverty. This project seeks helping 50 children to receive basic knowledge which means overcome poverty and become productive citizens of their community; giving hope for a bright future...
