At ednica we continuously promote to boys and girls who know, exercise and demand their rights.
Through our educational, therapeutic and accompaniment processes, we encourage the development of skills that will allow them to improve their school performance and reduce their time working on the streets.
We share with them the testimony of a child who attends our Xochimilco Community Center:
Hello. My name is Angel.
I'm 9 years old and I'm in 4th grade.
I have been attending ednica for 3 years. I like it when we do handicrafts, play soccer, I am learning to read and to know the rights of children.
They also gave us a workshop on drug use. I have an educational scholarship that has helped me buy my clothes, some groceries, my school uniform and school supplies.
We invite you to join #GivingTuesday on December 3 and continue to support street children who attend ednica.
