In this year 2019, we want to thank those who supported us in our end of the year campaign, with your support, the children who work in the streets of Mexico City, will continue with their studies.
In this month, we commemorate the International Women's Day, in Ednica we believe that the mothers of these children are an indispensable piece for them to continue studying and stop working in the public space.
For this reason, we work together with mothers to develop socio-emotional skills that favor their positive parenting skills towards their sons and daughters.
We invite you to read his attached testimony and to continue being part of Ednica supporting our work again.
Letter from the mother:
My name is Elizabeth, I’m 38 years old, it’s been 6 years since I come to ednica. I have 4 children named Jenifer, Alonso, Diego and Monserrat.
In ednica they gave taught me to respect others, and my children mathematics, prevention against gender violence and against women. They have also taught emotion control and how to communicate better at home.
All this while my children play, draw, or are taken to the park, I help by cooking and like to bring my kids here, because they look happy
