Dear friends and supporters,
Since our last report, Mosaik Support Center welcomed 3 new teachers to the team in order to facilitate the needs of the population of Lesvos island. More than 300 students registered for our classes and we have added new courses!
Now students can receive English, Greek, Arabic, IT, and employability training (CV writing, job searching, etc) as always, but additionally, we introduced our German classes, Yoga and Music courses! There was a big demand for these subjects and with the help of our supporters we managed to incorporate them into our educational program. All classes are open to everyone and are completely free to attend. Workshops and training will be open to everyone who wants to take part. Keep up with our lectures by following us on social media!
Lesvos Solidarity aims to connect and empower both refugees and native islanders. Three pillars—education, culture, and vocational training—form the foundation of our plan. Additionally, we hope that our seminars and educational programs will promote environmental awareness.
Many people find hope at Mosaik, and we work hard to keep our program and topics relevant by paying attention to their needs. It's crucial that locations like the Mosaik Support Center continue to be open.
To continue the work of Mosaik Support Center, we rely on your love, support, and solidarity. Every contribution helps to empower the less fortunate refugees on the island of Lesvos.
Until we have more to report, please accept our gratitude for your generosity and solidarity.
Best regards,
The team of Lesvos Solidarity
