Lesvos Solidarity was born out of the evolutionary nature of the refugee crisis. Since 2012, Lesvos Solidarity responds to both humanitarian emergencies and the long-term demands of the biggest migration crisis since the Second World War. In April 2016, when thousands of refugees were stranded on the island, Lesvos Solidarity formally registered as charity.
