Dear friends and supporters,
As the new school year is here, Mosaik Support Center is getting ready to receive students. Registration for refugees and locals is already open, and many have already reserved their spots in our classes. More than 150 people already reached out to us!
The school year begins with English, Greek, Arabic, IT, and employability training (CV writing, job searching, etc). Everyone is invited to attend any of the classes they wish for free. All who wish to participate will also have access to workshops and training. Follow us on social media to stay up to date on our latest seminars!
Lesvos Solidarity seeks to empower and link refugees and the island's local population. Our strategy is built around three pillars: education, culture, and vocational training. We also hope our educational and recreational events/workshops will help raise environmental consciousness.
Mosaik is a source of hope for many individuals, and we work hard to keep our schedule and themes current by listening to their needs. It is important that places like the Mosaik Support Center remain open.
We count on your support, love and solidarity to continue Mosaik Support Center’s actions. Every donation counts towards the empowerment of vulnerable refugees on the island of Lesvos.
Until our next report, we are sending you our gratitude.
Best regards,
The team of Lesvos Solidarity
