Education of Haitian children is essential for their futures and Haiti.
37.9% of the population of Haiti is unable to read or write according to Haiti Partners. This makes it nearly impossible for young adults and adults to make a living and find any hope of escaping poverty or helping their families out of the perpetual cycle of deprivation they are in. Mercy & Sharing is giving 1100 students the opportunity to break this cycle.
Mercy & Sharing schools provide Haitian children with the tools to solve problems and bring social and economic stability to their country.
These 1100 students are given the education they need to rise out of poverty, which will help their families now and in the future, not to mention the future of Haiti.
