Educate 150 underprivileged children at Nepal

Dear friends,

Greetings, Namaste.

 It’s our great pleasure to share with you friends the Quarterly Progress Report of SDO-Nepal for the duration of 27 March, 2024 to July 25, 2024 as follows:

Story:

“When you open your heart to giving, angels fly to your door.” Unknown. Indeed, nothing is greater than happiness. During the stationery distribution program to  students at Chandeshwori Secondary School, Tokha, it shocked and made us sentiment when we saw the happiness and brightness on the innocent faces of children while they were receiving the School bags, water bottles and stationery sets which covers for 1 year. Indeed, these children were from most needy and marginalized community and their guardians are unable to buy these item to their children. Actually, they have no proper time and space of reading , eating and residing facilities. Most of the parents does not cook food at their home expecting their children may have Tiffins from school management. Some children, attends school without school uniforms as their parents are not capable to buy school dress to their children. Hence, our small support made them quite happy. This support was a great reward to them at school and also at their home community.

Activities:

1)Indeed, an overwhelming moment , Distributing SCHOOL BAGS, STATIONARY SETS and WATER BOTTLE to 142 needy and underprivileged students who are studying at 8 community schools within TOKHA MUNICIPALITY. We are heartily grateful to the respected Mayor Mr Prakash sir , ward member of Tokha-8 Mr Rai sir , Education section chief Mr Babu Ram sir and Team , as well as chief of Social Inclusion section and Finance Section and all the respected Team of Tokha Municipality for making the program most successful and memorable and granting us your worthy time. A huge thank you to respected Teachers and lovely 142 students for your great presence in the program.

We also THANKS to the SDO TEAM members for your commitment and hard work for timely planning, procurement, and effective implementation of program . We thanks to all who helped us to accomplish the program by providing auditorium hall, transportation, managing snacks and water, photography, cleaning and all.

We anticipate these educational materials will greatly help to enhance the quality education to the needy students. Best wishes students.

We are heartily grateful to our most respected donors for your love, kindness and generous donations so that we are able to provide these educational materials to these children. A HUGE THANK YOU friends. Every words are least to gratitude to you.

2) Twins girls Ganga and Jamuna studying at class-7 , who are the younger sisters of SARASWATI( our reunited girl) received Educational materials which covers for 1 year ( i.e. school bags, copies, dots pen , pencil, water bottles, sharpeners, and eraser) at SDO Nepal office.

3) During the stationery distribution program to 2 very talented and beautiful girls Sargam and Sangam studying at class-6 and class-3 at Jalupa Secondary School, Baniyatar , it shocked and made us sentiment when we saw the happiness and brightness on the innocent faces of children while they were receiving the School bags, water bottles and stationery sets which covers for 1 year. Hence, our small support made them quite happy. This support was a great reward to them at school and also at their home community.

4)  We are supporting to our reunited girls on tution fees, stationery sets to continue their school education staying with their own families/relatives. Now, they are happily living with their own families and enjoying their own village atmosphere and culture. Now they are upgraded to higher classes with good results as :

Priya, class-10

Karishma, class-9

Pemba, class-9

Pratikshya, class-8

Sasaswati class-12 is awaiting  her final result.
