Muwakhat Foundation worked with another local foundation to collect donations and distribute the first round of relief items for the flood victims. The first distribution phase included cash, blankets, and ration for the KP region.

One-third of the country is currently underwater with the grim death toll climbing to more than 1,000 people. Over 33 million people are affected. 1 in 7 people in Pakistan has been affected by the historic disaster. The hardest hit areas are Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Punjab. Floodwaters have damaged nearly 1 million homes, 600 schools, 145 bridges, and thousands of kilometers of roads – making relief efforts extremely challenging and cutting off many communities from outside assistance. The humanitarian situation is deteriorating rapidly, with many more families expected to be pushed to the brink of survival as the disaster continues to unfold.

Our teams are on the ground right now, already working in local communities to support affected families. We aim to provide a lifeline through interventions including distributing hygiene kits, tents, food packs, kitchen utensils, and cash grants so families can meet their most urgent needs. We will start rebuilding their houses and take care of their children’s education. We will take care of their school fees, uniforms, and clothes.

Kindly help us support the flood victims and bring their life back to normal. Donate to help the flood victims

Muwakhat Foundation has been helping COVID-19 affected families since the start of the pandemic.

After two years of constant hard work, Muwakhat Foundation now aims to help 10,000 COVID-19 affected families get back on their feet and start earning again.

Throughout the pandemic, Muwakhat Foundation provided these families with food and monthly ration to help them survive the outbreak. Muwakhat even gave them cash packets and served them iftar (breaking of fast with food at sunset) for the last three Ramadans.

Now Muwakhat Foundation is asking for your help in its aim to get these families to work and start small businesses which will be sustainable.

Please consider donating to 10,000 families.

A day was spent with the homeless children in the park.

Muwakhat Foundation took children to the park for a play day. Due to the pandemic and school stress, Muwakhat decided to give the children one day of leisure so they could feel stress free.

These homeless children usually don't get such luxuries so it was an exciting day for them. Outdoor activities were organised for them. They were able to play together as a team.

Every one wanted to get their pciture taken. Everyone tried out different swings and games.

You can clearly see the happiness on their faces.

Please donate for these smiles. Your every donation helps Muwakhat Foundation take care of these homeless children.
