Muwakhat Foundation has been helping COVID-19 affected families since the start of the pandemic.

After two years of constant hard work, Muwakhat Foundation now aims to help 10,000 COVID-19 affected families get back on their feet and start earning again.

Throughout the pandemic, Muwakhat Foundation provided these families with food and monthly ration to help them survive the outbreak. Muwakhat even gave them cash packets and served them iftar (breaking of fast with food at sunset) for the last three Ramadans.

Now Muwakhat Foundation is asking for your help in its aim to get these families to work and start small businesses which will be sustainable.

Please consider donating to 10,000 families.

A day was spent with the homeless children in the park.

Muwakhat Foundation took children to the park for a play day. Due to the pandemic and school stress, Muwakhat decided to give the children one day of leisure so they could feel stress free.

These homeless children usually don't get such luxuries so it was an exciting day for them. Outdoor activities were organised for them. They were able to play together as a team.

Every one wanted to get their pciture taken. Everyone tried out different swings and games.

You can clearly see the happiness on their faces.

Please donate for these smiles. Your every donation helps Muwakhat Foundation take care of these homeless children.

Muwakhat Foundation arranged free health camp for families affected by COVID-19 on September 12 2021. In lockdown, poor families lost their source of income and in current worse health conditions they are not able to afford expenses of health treatment for their children and women.

This was one of the reasons that Muwakhat provided free health camp with experience doctors and medicines for children and women. This was the first event of free health camp of the goal to help 10,000 families affected by covid in next 12 months. In camp, doctor did covid test, general health check up and viral diseases due to weather changing especially the mothers and children. Muwakhat believes when the mother is safe, the whole family is safe.

Now Muwakhat Foundation wants to support families affected by COVID-19 and get them back on their feet We need your help in fulfilling these goals. Muwakhat Foundation has 23 registered families since the last year but now with your help we aim to help 10,000 families. Breaking myths around children from slum areas
PROJECT REPORT
We always hear a lot of myths around children from slum areas. Mainly in Pakistan, we get to hear how kids from slum areas are ill-mannered and cannot be a part of our normal and educated society. Due to all these myths, a lot of people do not interact with these children and the myths are never challenged. However, recently Muwakhat Foundation held a grand Iftaar for the families in the slum areas affected by the pandemic. The grand Iftaar was held for about 150 people. Due to the third wave of the pandemic, Muwakhat Foundation was unfortunately short on volunteers to help arrange the grand Iftaar for about 150 people. The grand Iftaar was held at the slum area. The families were open to offer help to the volunteers. The children helped the only 2 available female volunteers arrange the area. There were about 15 children who helped. Their ages ranged from anywhere to 5 years old to 12. The children helped set up the sitting area. They helped washed the dishes. They even dried the dishes. Few children were smart enough to even arrange the dining area properly and place sets of plates and glasses. They knew basic numbers in English and set 15 sets of crockery per 5 rows. They counted the sets themselves and placed all the crockery themselves. They then followed the instructions of the female volunteers and placed dates, mangoes, bananas, and samosas on each set. After the grand Iftaar was over, the children even helped wrap up everything. They helped pack up everything and arrange it in an orderly manner. With this experience, it became obvious that these children should not be underestimated and with just a little help, they can easily be a part of our normal society.

Now Muwakhat Foundation is focusing on Food and Education for these children and on a special Education program for girls. We would like your support in these programs to help these children reach their potential.

Muwakhat handover blanket and matress to Nabila
Muwakhat handover blanket and matress to Nabila

Ms. Nabila has no one with her. She has been living in different places. Currently she is living in a girls hostel and there she needed bedding stuff to prevent herself through this cold. During verification she told us about her circumstances and we worked over this issue.

Alhumdullilah by the Grace of ALLAH, our Operational Head and Ambassador visited a shop in Faisal Town Lahore, Pakistan and bought up new bedding stuff with A+ quality because Muwakhat believes in QUALITY rather than QUANTITY. Bedding stuff includes the following things, Double aply Blanket, Pure cotton mattress, Pillow and Bedsheet set.

As per we believe in “WE ARE ONE’’, so we have chosen the thing we could choose for ownselves. It costed around 10k. Finally we handed over her the stuff and it happened just because of the efforts of our respected donors, our team and above all ALLAH.

Reviews from Ms. Nabila:- You came as a divine helping hand to me in this crucial time. May God bless Muwakhat and you with more. I wish God will make me from one of you. ThankYouMuwakhat Foundation to be a helping hand in this.
