Many of you have been with us for years, and we are tremendously grateful for your continued support and partnership. We also want to take this time to officially recognize our new supporters and welcome them to the We women family! Your support around the world encourages us to continue our work and strengthens our mission of uplifting and supporting women through education. We are immensely grateful for your partnership!
As of August 2024, we have raised €6000 through various platforms, we still need an additional €5000 to reach our goal. This year has been particularly challenging for fundraising due to global crises that demand our attention and resources. In light of these challenges, we are especially grateful that you have chosen to partner with We Women and continue empowering the women and the future of Myanmar. As we finished our campaign, Ursula will continue fundraising for educational funds for the women of 2024: Bee, Nang Kham Lao, and Sin Swe Thar! They will all continue their studies.
Please know that without your support and commitment to our mission, we would not be able to assist key women leaders in Myanmar! Since 2009, we have supported over 60 women in completing their higher education and attending university. These individuals are now uplifting and empowering hundreds within their communities, both in Myanmar and beyond. Every woman we support is a significant achievement. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our work!
We women will continue to empower emerging leaders both within and outside of Myanmar, creating a ripple effect that will strengthen and empower the nation. Your partnership and belief in our work have supported us that far, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship. Let us keep working together to transform and uplift Myanmar. Women's education and leadership are vital in this journey and we can’t wait to see the impact it creates.
