As the end of the 2022-2023 academic years approach at EDUCA we are closing the projects we currently implement at the supported schools.
The most significant activities we had are:
- Trained 10 science teachers who will participate in the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE), a science education program based on biotechnology. This program is implemented in 14 countries and, for the first time, in Mexico, benefiting 5 RED EDUCA schools and more than 300 high school and upper secondary students. Through this Amgen-funded program, faculty and students will be able to access high-quality laboratory equipment and supplies, improve their scientific knowledge, and increase their interest in science, biotechnology, and scientific careers.
- In March we also held the Third EDUCA Mathematics Contest with the participation of 1058 elementary, middle and high school students, from 21 schools located in Mexico City, State of Mexico, Morelos, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Chiapas and Baja California Sur. EDUCA awarded recognitions and prizes to students and schools that achieved outstanding performance.
- Instalation of 6 school gardens
- Held the Entrepreneurship and Savings Fair with the participation of 1273 students and 272 ventures.
