Donating dresses to some children in a partner sch
Despite identifying 15 potential beneficiaries of the project, it finally started with only 5 of them due to limited resources. Selected beneficiaries who are children who have been orphaned by the armed conflict in the North West and South West Region. GLOWA established partnership with Government Practicing Primary School group 1B Nkwen Bamenda. In collaboration with the headteacher, GLOWA identified the five beneficiaries, three in primary 3 and two in primary 4 and covered their cost of registration. We have supported the provision of basic leaning materials. In the months ahead, we are planning a joint consultation for basic healthcare amongst other support activities. The project equally donated some cloths to a cross section of kids in our partner school as can be seen in the picture attached

Setting out for Project Execution
By Jamils Richard Achunji Anguaseh | Executive Director
The project to educate 50 kids affected by the armed conflict in the North West Regions of Cameroon started with developing the modality for its execution. The tools already designed include the profile of the scholars. Because the project provides scholarship for formal education, it has to determine the profile of those who can be enrolled on the program. The project has equally identified some schools as partners in the development phase of the project. So far 15 scholars have been identified in three partner schools of the project. The team at GLOWA is now working with the guardians of the selected scholars to finalize modalities for collaboration including visiting and participation of the scholars in joint activities organization by GLOWA under the auspices of the project. Concertation is also being done on the role of other actors in the life of the children (scholars).
