The Educate, Equip & Empower (EEE) project is designed to tackle poverty; retention, enrollment and completion of girl child education; enable networking and mentoring between female students and women professionals around the world and provide access to opportunities for women and girls in Nigeria.
SEPTEMBER 2020 - NOVEMBER 2020 UPDATE
EWEI Online, our online community for horizontal learning, exchange and mentorship, has in the last quarter maintained activities online.
In the month of September 2020, we discussed Healthy Relationships and focused on the following topics:
We also had a Facebook live chat with a mentor and discussed relationship in detail. In October 2020, we discussed Stereotypes and Today’s Woman and we discussed the following.
In November 2020, we discussed two topics; Personal Branding and Gender Based Violence.
We started with Personal Branding and talked about Self-Discovery, Self-Image and Self Esteem. We went ahead to discuss Self-Love and Self-Care and ended the discussion with how to build a personal Brand.
The second topic for the month was “Gender Based Violence and Violence against Women and Girls”. We introduced and highlighted the different types of Gender Based Violence(GBV). We talked about ways to fight GBV as a society.
