The program currently serves 89 students, most of whom live with surviving family members and are supported directly by scholarships. 17 students in the program are now unable to live with their families, so they have been placed in boarding schools that have been thoroughly verified and are near their families and communities of origin.

Student Update
*Maya is a 13-year-old girl who goes to grade 6. She stays at the Advanced Academy school hostel with other HCC students. Maya is really good at her studies and is one of the top 5 students in her class. Teachers like her because she gets good grades and behaves well. Recently, she took part in a spelling competition and got first place. She's not just smart in her studies but also active in school activities, even learning Karate. Maya enjoys all her classes and loves reading, traveling, watching movies, and learning to cook.
When school breaks come, she goes to her maternal grandparents' house. She loves spending time with them, helping with chores, and working in the fields. She really misses them when she's at school. Maya is a hardworking and creative girl who enjoys drawing and painting. Her dream is to become a successful teacher. She thanks everyone for the support and hopes to make them proud.
On behalf of the entire HCC team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, sponsors, and supporters for their unwavering contributions.
