Educate and Train 100 Disadvantaged Children

We are happy to forward a letter from one of our beneficiaries, whom we first met July 2013, through his brother, Mark, a beneficiary of our first initiative. The letter is slightly edited for accuracy as well as privacy for the family. We are so blessed to have your support to be able to help those less fortunate, and we hope you are blessed by Ridwan's testimony and letter of appreciation.

Dear Fair Life Africa Foundation and my Sponsors,

I write this with a heart full of gratitude and appreciation for your unwavering support and believe in me right from my elementary school days.

When I sit down and really think about how far I have come, my heart is just full of gratitude for everything you have done for me and my family. It still feels amazing and unreal to me that all this started through my elder brother. What started as an act of just caring for him ended up being a total lifeline for me and my siblings. Your decision to step in and support us back then completely changed the trajectory of my life and my brothers, Olaitan, Sulaiman, and Mustapha.

Under the Disadvantage to Advantage initiative, you took me in right from primary school, the foundation saw me through secondary school, and then all the way to university. Even times when there are constraint, economic crises, and it was obvious that it will be difficult to seek for sponsors, and I knew funding was a big challenge, you never dropped me. You made sure background didn't put a stop to my education.

Today, by His Grace and your amazing support, I am now a proud graduate of Lagos State University, from the prestigious department of Accounting. But I know this degree is not just for me alone, it’s as a result of the Foundation’s initiative, it belongs to the Foundation, belongs to every single sponsor who gave their hard-earned money just to keep me in school.

Your generosity and support has taught me practically that, true success is measured by the lives we touch and impact, and not necessarily by being the only person in the picture.

I know I can never fully pay you back, but I am confident and committed to living a life of integrity, pushing for excellence, and by God's grace, becoming a blessing and source of hope to others just like I have benefited from the foundation.

Please, kindly extend my warm regards and gratitudes to all our volunteers, partners, and sponsors, especially Pinefield Schools, Lekki. I pray God continues to bless the Foundation, and enlarge its capacity to change many more lives.
