Women Helping Women, Atlanta, GA, USA and Femme Aide Femme, Guinea, West Africa with the support of our donors have made it possible for twelve (12) high school girls and ten (10) elementary children to attend school for a year. Yes, 22 children will have the opportunity to attend school and have all their school fees paid for the year. Pure joy and thanks to the GlobalGiving Team and our donors.
You will meet the children and hear their stories of hope. We will feature one student in each quarterly progress report. And, you will meet the mentors/monitors who will provide guidance and assistance to the students throughout the school year. The mentors/monitors are the link between the students, parents, schools, program staff and community.
Currently, the students are meeting with program staff and mentors and the parents concerning their respective roles. The excitement and joy are in all the students and parents because they know education can change their lives forever.
Thanks to our donors for making room at the table of opportunity for these precious children. Please share your thoughts and good wishes for the children of Guinea, West Africa
