Nanritam provides quality English-medium education at Filix School in an underdeveloped rural area in India. We help the children develop their creative, scientific and artistic faculties, teamwork, integrity, and self-respect. Each year, we raise funds to set up a new class for ongoing education of the existing students and for enrolling new 4-year old kids to the school. Your donation will sustain our passion to grow these children as future global citizens and make you a part of our family.
Before Nanritam started Filix School, children in this underdeveloped and remote area had no access to quality education, no exposure to globalization and little incentive to attend school. Existing schools in the area lack trained teachers in classrooms, good educational support systems, STEM trainings, books and encouragements to be creative. Our school is at capacity and requires funds to continue our mission, failing which the students may have to go back to their underprivileged roots.
Since 2014, our commitment to create a sustainable ecosystem for the children and be with them during their development cycle has grown stronger by the day. We believe this will benefit them as well as the world as they become responsible global citizens in the future. Raising the required funds will help us continue and expand the work that is currently in progress - scale the infrastructure and operations for the growth, sustain the support for the current students, and on-board new students.
We service children from a 20-mile radius from our school - an area where over 10,000 people live. Currently we have about 450 students in Nursery, KG1, KG2 and first through fifth grades. The area has many more children who we would love to bring into our family. We have built momentum and would like to keep it going. We are committed to continue developing the children in the area so that they get quality education, radiate hope, help their families, communities and the world at large.
