Anyone, Anywhere has the Power to Change the World

By Lynn Younglove | Project Leader

Road to Freedom Scholarship students are taking this opportunity to shine!~

They are all studying hard and so grateful for the chance to go to school.  We have just recieved thier grade reports and learned that they are all continually improving!  With medical care, nutrition and safety, it is making it possible to learn.

"It's much easier to study when you are not hungry." - Rose

Rose is one of our students that comes from the Slum of Kibera.  She was living with an Auntie in an overcrowded dwelling with many cousins, and no clean water. She was small and frail and malnourished, yet still able to whisper that she wished she could go to school.

Today she is thriving in her new setting and considers the other RFS students her sisters... they are like a family she exclaims.  She loves to do theatre and drama in her spare time.

---------------------------------------

I know there are a lot of other ways you could spend your money.

But if you believe in our cause, and you chose to invest in our project, because of this investment, I want you to feel like part of our team. We're in this together. I want our success to be your success.  I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project - share the link on your blogs or social networks, use the tell-a-friend feature on the project page to email your network, or just bring us up in conversation. You know your friends and family best, so use your own words - tell them why you chose our project and what it means to you.Thank you again for all you have done to help this cause.

We believe that anyone, anywhere, has the power to change the world.

Be a part of the stories we create together in 2016!

It is more rewarding to watch money change the world than to watch it accumulate.
–Gloria Steinem

Thank you, the RFS team
