Help us send more children on a Road to Freedom with a scholarship to a beautiful boarding school that offers these kids from the slum a bed to sleep in, a uniform, medical care, 3x meals a day, CLEAN WATER to drink, AND an amazing education!
Recently our RFS students made a trip to the country to join in a leadership workshop where they learned the skills you don't learn in a school classroom. They worked hard with Kenyan leaders to learn about making choices, consequesces for your actions, self- confidence, self esteem, as well as how to be a leader. They discussed different carrer opportunites possible to them other than the obvious choices and what it might take to get there!
The 17 children we have in RFS are also giving back! They are volunteering in thier communities by reading to children and working to help in a local community center when they are home during thier school breaks.
Marcus has improved his grades over the last year to almost all A's! He was also voted in as his school's president. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and watching him grow and learn and recieve this knowledge is so inspiring! Marcus is on a path to the possibility of University in America... Dream BIG Marcus, all the RFS donors support you!
Thanks to YOU the donor, we are continuing to see so many big dreams from these children, as they are given the opportunity to shine, they really do, with grace, and gratefulness.
