Thank you for your great generosity. We at All Out Africa Foundation greatly appreciate your donations and ongoing support. In 2023, we have been able to provide 2 decent meals a day to more than 300 children that attend our NCPs daily. Through your support, All Out Africa can help the most disadvantaged children via monthly deliveries of groceries, including rice, sugar beans, cooking oil, salt, mealie meals, spice sachets, soup, sugar, and soap, from our 9 NCPs.
According to UNICEF's 2018 report, many children end up dropping out of school later due to the lack of preschool education. Children attending our NCPs are provided with an opportunity to receive quality preschool education, establishing a solid foundation for these young scholars who cannot otherwise afford private preschools to pursue their dreams. We are consistently inspired by reports from teachers and staff regarding the success of NCP graduates in primary schools and beyond. The support you provide is indispensable to this mission, with your help funding the stipends for 8 teachers and 10 cooking ladies that run our NCPs. These women dedicate all their time to these underprivileged children and treat them like their own.
A lot of developments have been on going at the NCP’s, installation of electricity at 3 of our NCPs which will help the youth in the communities to learn entrepreneurship skills to start up their own businesses. This will allow early familiarity with computers and technology. We’ve also repainted all classrooms into a beautiful blue color, bought more swings so that there’s enough for each NCP, and replaced broken windows due to storm and strong winds have been replaced at affected NCP’s.
All Out Africa Foundation has supplied all our preschools with stationery like colored pencils, paint, paint brushes, flashcards, reading books, puzzles, and play dough. Soccer balls, scooters and skipping ropes were added to play items. As we end the year, 175 children graduated with pride and joy. On this day the graduates feel special as they look different from their peers in their graduation outfits. The parents and guardians beam with pride as the children go and receive their certificates from an All Out Africa Foundation staff member, a special guest, and the teacher, experienced further through the shouts and screams of joy from the people that have come to support the graduates.
The children show off what they have learnt over the last 2 years. They recite poems about their king and country, and sing traditional and western songs. Everyone was entertained especially during the traditional dance performance. All the graduates received a goody pack with pencils, crayons, and a small toy.
We greatly appreciate all of your support.
