Empower 30 Deaf Children through Quality Education

Introduction and project overview

This project was commenced in May 2023 to enable deaf children access basic educaion, thanks to all supportersm volunteers and wel wishers that have brought Us this far.. The project aims at building cognitive capacities and lifeskils of these children by enhancing conducive learning conditions and environment. The project aspects such as support with tution fees, provision of learning materials, clothes sanitay towels and food staffs have all yielded a positie effect to the learning of the children.

The project relied on mobilization of supporters and allies to deliver the specific objects. However due to  various challenges experienced in resource mobilization, the project was unable to fully realize the ultimate goal as envisiged in the planning process. It is anticipated that more strategies of resource mobuilization being propelled by the project personnel will reach higher achievements in this scond year. 

Project achievements in the year 2023

In this reporting year the project was able to raise $500 (Kes78000) from well wishers and supporters both locally and internationally. 20% of the finances was utilized on project administrative purposes whereus 80% driven towards payment of school fees for and provision of scolastic materilas to 18 children.

Non scolastic materials received by the organization for supply to target beneficiaries include:

1. Non-uniform clothes, supplied to 52 children

2. Sanitary towels for adolescents girls, supplied to 36 girls

3. Shoes, suplied to 11 children

Food stuffs were also mobilized and supplied to improve dietary needs of these children while in school.

The project has continued to experience positivity even as the organization works around the clock to ensure it attains the required stability in provision of the services as planned.
