The organization received massive support from well wishers, friends and relatives to support this project. I'm am happy to report that GlobalGiving was part of this support and 30 children have been positively impacted by the campaign.
Compared to the last reporting period where we only reached 13 deaf children, this time round FHF has been able support 30, total target. 12 children received a pair of uniform, 30 children received learning materials. By gender, 17 girls were supported alongside 13 boys.
As we move forward we remain hopeful that vulnerable children will receive more support from Us in collaboration with other like minded organizations and individuals in making their dreams come true.

Empower 30 Deaf Children through Quality Education
By Isaiah Khasiani | Director
This project was commenced in May 2023 to enable deaf children access basic educaion, thanks to all supportersm volunteers and wel wishers that have brought Us this far.. The project aims at building cognitive capacities and lifeskils of these children by enhancing conducive learning conditions and environment. The project aspects such as support with tution fees, provision of learning materials, clothes sanitary towels and food staffs have all yielded a positie effect to the learning of the children.
The project relied on mobilization of supporters and allies to deliver the specific objects. However due to various challenges experienced in resource mobilization, the project was unable to fully realize the ultimate goal as envisiged in the planning process.
The project had targeted to support 30 deaf children in basic education this year, reduced from 50 last year. However in this reporting period only 4 learners have been supported as compared to over therty of the year 2023. This is atrtributed to a web of challenges within and outside the organization. The four learners were supported with school fees donation of USD 320. We are still hopeful and enthusisastic that as we move forward and as we work on improving our resource mobilization ability, more children will benefit from this project.
