Kalyet Afya Foundation is empowering learners to lead change from within their schools by mentoring 12 School Peer Educators (SPEs) in each school to champion Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Through a peer-led approach, learners are equipped with accurate information, leadership skills, and the confidence to facilitate open, age-appropriate discussions on topics such as menstrual health, consent, healthy relationships, and prevention of early pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
By placing learners at the center, we are creating safe spaces where students feel heard, understood, and supported by their peers. These trained Peer Educators are breaking myths, reducing stigma, and promoting informed decision-making—ensuring that no learner is left behind due to lack of knowledge or fear of judgment.
Your support can help us train more Peer Educators, provide learning materials, and expand this life-changing initiative to more schools. Together, we can strengthen youth leadership and protect the health, dignity, and future of the next generation of learners.
