Next month the 14th is the biggest race event in Cape Coast Ghana. Currently a lot has already been put in place. Letters has been sent out as well as proposals to some corporate entities to have them get on board.
This year we are keen to having members of the communities play active role. In order to have this a sucess we have been meeting with musicians and other entertainment stake holders in Cape Coast.
Once such group is the El-Shaddai Movie Production who will be performing a drama gear towards stimatization of those living with HIV/AIDS.
We are excited about that part of the event as we try to send the message across using various platforms.
The Oasis Beach Resort in Cape Coast has renew their support for the race and has made a cash donation of 150GHS. We are hoping to have more people of interest on board as well.
Members of the Peace Corps in Ghana has alreasy started to sign up! We are glad that we will have them as a part of the event. We looking to see them bring some expertise to the awareness.
Another group which has already sign up is the speech impaired athletes of Cape Coast.
