On September 11, 2017, the first twenty orphaned children moved into the Bonnie Memorial Children's Home in Sierra Leone! Thanks to you, we were able to finish construction on this multi-story home, build furniture such as benches and beds, and find houseparents to help care for the children. The recent flooding and mudslides in the area amplified the need, and children orphaned from this new tragedy have joined the Ebola orphans at the home. Thank you so much for your donations and your support - YOU provided hope in a tangible way for the children.
We continue to raise monthly support for the childrens' food and shelter, and for additional furniture needs such as a large dining table at which the children can eat. There are not enough words to say thank you for your support on this project - we truly appreciate your partnership which has allowed us to care for the littlest victims of the tragedies in Sierra Leone.
