The building phase of the Ebola Orphanage, recently named the Bonnie Memorial Children’s Home (BMCH) is still on- going. We have completed construction and installation of lumber, pillars and arches. The next step is to install steel rods, after which the concrete will be poured and the basement roof will be completed. Then we plan to install windows, doors, plaster, plumbing, and electrical. Finally, we will move in the furniture, beds, tables, chairs, kitchen utensils, etc. for the children to move in.
We have staff selected to work at the orphanage (the Matron, Cleaner, and Cook) and they are on standby as construction is completed. We are anticipating that about 15 of the 25 orphans can move in after the completion of the basement and when we complete the next floor the rest of the Ebola orphans can move in.
Thank you for your continued support!
