Earthquake Recovery Appeal

Dear Supporter,

The second half of 2023 was full of challenges for the whole EFA team, house mothers, and girls. Despite this, we're stepping into the new year filled with gratitude and renewed hope. We are eager to share some updates with all of you who have been our driving force.

The many generous donations and grants from all around the world for the last four months have made it possible to make plans to rebuild our houses and extend support to our staff members. Your kindness helped us raise £ 436,865 so far, which is in a secure notice deposit account as we wait for the government to confirm their plans for rebuilding the schools in the affected region.

In the meantime, we've rented two houses in Chwiter which is 25 Kilometres from Marrakech. This is the area that has been assigned to students from some of the locations in the High Atlas which were badly damaged. The girls are slowly settling and adapting to their new house with the help of our amazing house mothers and staff members who provide a warming and supportive environment for their personal and collective growth.

In 2024 our commitment remains the same: providing education to girls from rural Morocco and ensuring they have our full support of our boarding houses throughout the academic year. We are filled with hope and determination to continue our journey and look forward to sharing more updates during the year.
