Music works as a cognitive stimulant for kids between 4 and 11 years old. In Hogar Bambi is well know that this activity helps every child in a positive way, specifically because they enjoy the it as a way to distract and express themselves with a non-academic activity. Music helps kids to improve their social and communication skills and it can also help with their creativity and imagination.
We started a musical project in 2021 in which every kid of the foundation have music classes since they are 6 months old, in the first years they learn the bases of music and then they practice with a chorus and play the “cuatro” one national iconic instruments in Venezuela.
This project has shown that every kid has improved their self-confidence, and they have also shown growth and discovered great singing skills. The results of this project are better than we expected, the musical activities helped in so many ways, including the personal, recreational and academic development.
